Brazil nut collection and export is largely affected by measures taken in Bolivia to prevent Covid-19 from spreading. Several lockdowns disrupted production and shipment of Brazil nuts. Because of this, production is expected to be small this year but this is compensated by slow demand. At the moment, shipments are still delayed.
In Brazil, where fewer measures against the spread of coronavirus have been taken, shipments are happening normally.
